Ogden High School Senior Audra Haglund wears many different hats while she is completing her last year of school. Audra is involved in many school and community activities. Her involvement and leadership has helped her earn the honor of being March Student of the Month.
Fine Arts have been the center of Audra’s extra-curricular activities. Band and choir have consumed hours of her time. She has excelled in group and individual speech by qualifying several times for the state contests.
Scholarship has always been high on Audra’s list of achievement. Presently, she is serving as president of the National Honor Society. She is very proud of the successful fall blood drive sponsored by the group.
Family and farm life take up the rest of her time. Audra is the daughter of Kriss and Crystal Haglund. Along with her two younger sisters Lauren and Leah, (Juniors at OHS) Audra has an older sister and brother. Andrea is a nurse at Mary Greeley Hospital and Cory is a senior at Iowa State.
Audra’s other interests have revolved around the family’s black Angus cows and calves. She is serving as Boone County Beef Queen this year. On the weekend she participates in showing calves through Bluff Creek Wrangler’s 4-H Club or with the Iowa Junior Angus Association. Audra has been active in leadership roles of both organizations.
Does Audra have any other outside interests? She will tell you she is an active member of the Ogden Baptist Church and she spends some time helping with a local catering service.
Audra’s future plans include attending a four year college.
CONGRATULATIONS TO AUDRA HAGLUND!
