2025 MS Positive Potatoes

January 6, 2025

January 2025

Positive Potato is Ogden Middle School's version of Student of the Month with an extra fun title!  One student is awarded from each grade.  The students are selected by the adults in the building based on these character traits: respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, caring, and always trying to improve. The Positive Potato recipients this month are:

8th Grade: Mia Morgan

7th Grade: Brennan Carson

6th Grade: Conner Dudley

The students are given a certificate with the educator's feedback for them. Here is just a snapshot of the one the students chose to share:

Mia - You are a true leader! You are kind, confident, and unwavering! You know what you want and you go for it! Continue to let those traits shine because you are destined to do great things and those traits will help you reach your full potential!

- Ms. McCormick

Brennan is a hard worker and a free spirit. He is always positive and makes others around him the same. – Mr. Lake

Conner is a quiet leader that others look up to. He does what it takes to succeed in a positive way. – Mr. Lake

Thank you to these people and businesses for their support of our amazing young people: Kim McCormick for her stellar crochet skills (each winner receives their very own positive potato with a superhero cape), The Well for their donation of drink coupons, and Ogden Fareway for their donation of snacks.
