It is with great pleasure that Ogden High School recognizes Connor Moe as our Student of the Month for December. Connor is the son of Brandon and Deanna Moe and serves as a role model to his siblings Dillon, Kayla, and Hazel. Connor has earned this recognition by making a positive impact in the classroom, extracurricular activities, and in the Ogden Community.
Academically, Connor is nothing short of exceptional. He maintains a rigorous course load and consistently achieves high standards in all his work, receiving honor roll all four years in high school. Connor Moe is a thinker and a tinkerer. He approaches each challenge with a determination to learn and grow. Whether he's diving into creating a robot, solving complex problems, or helping classmates understand difficult concepts, his grit and passion for discovery serve as a model for others.
Connor is not just a high achiever in the classroom—he is also an active and engaged member of our school and community. Whether participating in clubs, sports, or leadership activities, he is always ready to contribute his time and talents. His enthusiasm for school events and his willingness to take on new responsibilities is a testament to his commitment to making our school a better place for everyone.
Connor showcases his Bulldog pride at Ogden High School, whether on the field, in the stands, or in an FFA jacket. Connor was in football all four years of high school, making Academic All-Conference and captain his senior year. He participated in two years of track and field, and one year of wrestling. Outside of athletics, Connor has been involved in serving as part of the tech crew for the Ogden High School Musical and being an active member of the robotics team and FFA. In FFA Connor has been a true leader. He has won the attendance and academic achievement awards multiple times, participated in multiple competitive events, worked with developing readers at the elementary school, and served as the chapter’s Sentinel and Treasurer.
In addition to his contributions to the school, Connor is always busy outside of school. Connor has been in 4H since the 4th grade, doing various projects and showing at the Boone County Fair. At Community Methodist Church he has been active with the Last Supper, Men’s Group, High School Faith Formation, VBS, and more. He was active with Water’s Edge Riptide for two years. Connor is hard-working; holding various jobs, working livestock, and assisting with lambing. Upon graduation, Connor is continuing his education majoring in Engineering, focusing on Biomedical.
Congratulations, Connor—we are truly fortunate to have you as part of our school family!
